Mike has first hand experience of migrating to New Zealand and is now a qualified and licensed Immigration Adviser, being one of the first to graduate with the Bay of Plenty Graduate Certificate in New Zealand Immigration Advice. Mike arrived in New Zealand from the UK in 2005 with his wife Sandra, as Skilled Migrants. They were fortunate to have some support mechanisms already in place in New Zealand but still found it a steep learning curve due to the distance from family and friends and not knowing the local culture. In addition to his immigration qualification, Mike has a Masters Degree in Business istration MBA , was a Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Management for many years and, until the business became too busy, was supporting Wellington businesses as a volunteer mentor with Business Mentors New Zealand.
Mike's qualifications and extensive experience enable him to support all categories of potential migrant, from the visitor and student, to work, residence and business categories. Mike currently supports a number of newly qualified Immigration Advisers as their official Supervisor, as approved by the Immigration Advisers Authority.
